Ciroc Vodka Design Presentation

A design brief recieved from Diageo for their brand Ciroc.

Diageo wanted to promote the brand Ciroc through maximum visibility through various five star properties.

We were called in to present a design presentation for the brand. After lots of brainstorming, we came up with multiple ideas for brand enhancement. Following are some of the designs presented.

We have created a display stand which is illuminated when the bottles are placed in the cylinders.

The background is of acrylic where the edges gets illuminated when the bottles are in place.

The base is metal finish with laser etching on it. The background has laser etching of the brand logo Ciroc on it. The logo also gets illuminated withe the bottles placed in place.

Kaun?

Kaun? A movie by RGV. A fantastic thriller. The script is not too crisp but will hold you on to your seat.

The characters built up are interesting and intriguing. Urmila as a psycho killer has acted brilliantly. The fear on her face, with a pinch of innocence really had me believing it! And the character or Manol Bajpai and Sushant Singh are absolutely to the core!

This movie made me fans of all the three characters!

I can definitely recommend this movie anytime to anyone!!

Walk Of Life

Last sunday was very interesting for me. I had the chance to meet life!

It was a humid evening when I decided I need a walk outside. Thought I could take the shortcut which will take me away from the polluted neighborhood. So I decided to walk towards the exit kalyan area. No sooner had I arrived at the junction of railway bridge, I noticed a family of 5 walking down the bridge. The family consisted of both parents, 2 small girls and a grown up kid. The family looked poor, yet contented. The father was mid thirties, while his wife was almost of similar age, yet looked much younger. The 2 girls almost looked like 3 year old twins while the boy was much older at looked like he was around 9 year old.

What intrigued me was the signs of contentment on their face. The family was very poor, which was showing through their tattered clothes and patchwork on the girls frocks! They were walking down the bridge towards me. The two girls were playing while walking, while the boy was keeping an eye on the two so that they don't walk towards the road. The father was having a fun chat using a lot of hand signs with his wife while she was reciprocating with laughter and gestures.

When they came closer a bit, I realized that the father had partial blindness and the wife was deaf and dumb. Thank god the children were physically capable. Suddenly one of the two girls playfully wandered closer to the road and a car zipped by. Startled, she fell down to the ground. The brother, jumped to the rescue, helped his sister get back on the pavement. the girl was scared, her sister in shock, but the boy assured them of their safety. The parents trembled with fear when they saw their princess fall on the ground. But the boy gestured that he had his eyes on them and that he was watching them. He waved his palm to gesture that it is alright and there is nothing to worry about.

Both the parents saw him. The father walked upto him, patted him on his shoulder and they continued their long walk home.

All the while, I kept wondering about this family. They are poor, must be having loads of problems. But it never showed on their face. The family was so happy helping each other, supporting each other, standing by each other!

Where as we, all earning so better, trying to live a stable life. Are we the one who, after earning in tens and thousands and lakhs, ever been contented with what we have? Ever?

This family made me realise that we can be happy with what we have. The only thing we need to understand is to understand and appreciate with what
God has given us.

Slap The Donkey!

The first question. What is 'Slap The Donkey?'

STD is that platform which will give you the liberty to give one tight slap to the person you hate most. But don't take this personally. This group is created only to allow users to get out their frustration on the people who should have made the difference to our lives.

The municipal authorities, ...the local police, your doctor, your lawyer, your local Corporator, the construction company bullying you. Whoever it is, slap that donkey!

What this platform will give you? What we can assure is the cause taken up through the right channels. What we assure you is the fight for justice till the time justice is served.

What's in it for us? Nothing. We are one amongst you who thought that enough is enough and its time to pick up my hand and slap the donkey for not doing his job! This is what we believe. This is what we are. We are YOU!

So if you think you want to become the change rather than wait eternally for the change to happen, start slapping on this forum. Lets all get together and build up the action and tell them that we matter. It was just a little late but we are awake and we are taking our steps. We will not wait until you finish your tea and spit your Paan and then think whether to do this job or not. We want action and we want it now.

So, step up and SLAP THE DONKEY!

Things that look like what you think

Did you see the movie 'Matrix'?

Nothing is real. What you see is just a super imposition of the unreal world.

Don't believe me? Let's take a look around.

What do you see? People? Hundreds? Thousands? Multiple?

Yes. And all you see is their faces. But can you say which person is what kind of a human inside? Is the happy looking young man Mr. Hyde by night? Is the grumpy old man walking likes to see young naked women? Is the woman under the veil really a show off when she is naked with her young neighbor?

We all have, not one, not two, but multiple faces. Lovable, sinister, ferocious, repentant, despiseful, lonely and god knows what else.

But we all are the best actors in the world too! We all have the talent to hide our true emotions and show the world the face that they want to see.

Which face would you carry tomorrow?
